Brigitte’s path to becoming a tour guide was anything but straightforward. Originally trained as a high school teacher of English and geography, she realized during her internship that she longed for more freedom and variety. She decided to make a fresh start and took on exciting tasks in executive secretarial departments.

The spark for her current vocation ignited during a guided city tour in Paris. The vibrant atmosphere, the shared discovery of historical sites, and the enthusiasm of the guests fascinated her. From then on, the idea of ​​becoming a tour guide herself never left her mind.

A pivotal experience during a train journey confirmed her decision: An inspiring conversation with an experienced tour guide who spoke passionately about her profession left Brigitte in no doubt – this is my path!

Shortly thereafter, she began her training with Hamburg Guides and launched her career as a tour guide in 2018. Since then, Brigitte has delighted her guests with her in-depth knowledge and captivating storytelling. She is a trained church guide for Northern Germany and holds licenses to guide tours of the Elbphilharmonie Plaza and the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial.

She knows how to bring history to life and leave lasting impressions. In addition to German, Brigitte also conducts tours in English. Her expertise, combined with her humor and warm personality, makes every tour a special experience.
